Amy is a registered Myotherapist who has a keen interest in helping clients with their musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Prior to becoming a Myotherapist, she completed a degree in the Bachelor of Commerce. Over the course of over 15 years she undertook various types of office roles before deciding to pursue a diploma in Remedial Massage and later Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy.
During her teens she suffered from chronic neck and shoulder issues which, she now knows was due to her poor posture when studying. She lived in pain for several years before finding the right treatment plan. This has paved the way in her motivation and drive to help others with their own musculoskeletal conditions. She understands very well the different issues experienced by office workers due to poor posture and ergonomics leading to acute/chronic pain in the neck, shoulder, arms/wrists, back and hips. Being a parent herself she also understands the various muscle tensions life can bring when juggling work and family.
Amy is dedicated to help clients optimise their range of motion and postural alignment to ensure they can live better and healthier lives so they can return to the simple things in life. In doing so, she works closely with each client to formulate a treatment plan to help reach their individuals goals.
